Regional Leishmaniasis Control Center (RLCC), Yemen
RLCC, a charitable NGO, was founded in April 2014 as the first phase of the ISD-supported Eradication of Leishmaniasis from Yemen Project (ELYP) by the Yemeni dermatologist ISD member Dr. Mohamed A. Al-Kamel, with a collaboration from the American Academy of Dermatology and the German dermatologist Dr. Luitgard Wiest. It currently has 4 regional centers and running 7 integrated programs. The Board of Trustees is its principal authority, and a wide network of volunteers execute its activities.
